Updated November 20th, 2024.
Hi Coach,
I’m Brooke Miller, a junior at the University of Portland, where I play women’s soccer and major in Integrative Health and Wellness with a minor in Business. With a 3.95 GPA, I am entering the NCAA transfer portal for Spring of 2025 in search of a program where I can complete my college career, excel on the field, and play a key role in the team’s success. I bring a relentless work ethic, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to create opportunities in the attacking third. My goal is to contribute not only through scoring and assists but also by fostering teamwork, setting the tone with my energy, and helping elevate the program to its highest potential.
I thrive in positions 7, 9, and 11, offering versatility, speed, and exceptional fitness. My game is built on soccer intelligence, effective reading of opponents, and adapting strategies to create offensive opportunities while maintaining balance across the field.
Off the field, I’m committed to fostering a positive team culture and supporting my teammates to drive collective success. If your program seeks a skilled forward to contribute strategically and athletically, I’d love to connect.

About Me
Playing this sport is one of my greatest passions, and every day, I strive to improve and push my boundaries. The journey is about so much more than just skill; it’s about embracing challenges, being open to learning, and showing resilience in every situation. I've learned that growth comes from being coachable, willing to listen, and ready to adapt. This mindset, combined with a commitment to strength and conditioning, drives me to become a stronger, smarter, and more resilient player.
The only true obstacle in anyone's path is themselves. I've decided that I’m going to get what I want out of life because I have the determination and courage to pursue it. "Fortune favors the bold" is a motto I live by, and every day, I lean into the struggle and grind because I know that’s where greatness is built. There are no shortcuts—only hard work, persistence, and passion.
I bring more than just physical abilities to the game. I’m attentive, always ready to listen, and eager to take feedback to improve. I know that being a great teammate and a great athlete means being adaptable and self-aware. I am strong. I am fast. I am driven. But I’m also empathetic, compassionate, and supportive of those around me. At the end of the day, I'm fiercely dedicated to my goals and won’t let anything stand in my way.
I have the will, and I have the heart. I can, and I will.

Mentality
Here are some of my favorite books.
Seen below are some of the many quotes and words that inspire and motivate me the most:
Portland Women's Soccer #2 Forward
Competing as a winger/forward for the University of Portland's Division 1 soccer team under Coach Michelle French has been an exhilarating experience. Every match combines strategy, teamwork, and unwavering determination to score goals that electrify the crowd and inspire our team. Coach French's expertise has sharpened my skills, driving me to excel and contribute to our team's success both on and off the field.

My first college goal. 🙂
Thank you, Portland Thorns Soccer, for letting me play against Wrexham.
That was fun!
Thank you, San Diego Wave Soccer, for allowing me to practice with the team during the summer of 2024.
Extreme intensity training at its best!

California State Finalist.
In 2018, as a starting Freshman, I played as an Offensive Player for Cathedral Catholic High School Women's Varsity Soccer Team under Dawn Lee. Unfortunately, because of DA league rules, I was unable to play my Sophomore year. However, with the pandemic almost over and new ECNL league rules, on March 8th, 2021, as a Junior, I was selected as an Offensive Player for Cathedral Catholic High School Women's Varsity Soccer Team under Dawn Lee. Go Dons!
(3/23/2022) I am honored to receive the CCHS Varsity Soccer Coaches award from Coach Dawn Lee. I am going to miss those long visits in her office talking about soccer and strategy.

Brooke Miller selected to train with FC Bayern Munich
GPS Santa Barbara Camp 2019
In the summer of 2019, I was invited to attend the West Coast Global Premier Soccer (GPS) FC Bayern Munich ID Residential Camp in Santa Barbara, California.
On September 4th, 2019, GPS announced that I and eight others around the United States were selected to experience a week of training in April 2022 with the U19 and Women's II Teams in Munich, Germany. That was an amazing experience filled with great memories!
